Who Am I ?

Who am I
bringing love
to the soul of a nation
that was never born.

I am
said Arafat
his love sink into the sand
and tears disappeared
together with his hope.
'Who am I
to love a Nation?'.

He hold the fire
and threw them into the sea
technology disappeared into thin air
to love the son of Palestine
and by-gone the old flirt
the world wept in silence
and pray for peace
for another time.

And they begin to throw stone
from the hand of old men
and the poor children.
'who am I
to be angry
to ask for love.

Siapalah
yang datang melawat cinta
ketika dirinya tidak bernegara?

Akulah
kata Arafat ....
cintanya jatuh keatas pasir
air meresap ke dalam bumi
sebak dirinya hampa
siapalah
yang datang melawat cinta.

Digenggamnya bara api
ditikamnya ke lautan
teknologi berdesak bersama angin
mencumbu anak-anak Palestin
memberkas kasih lama
berkobar manusia di dunia
meminta ditangguhkan
kezaliman.

Dan mereka pun melontar batu
dari tangan orang-orang tua
dan anak-anak kecil
siapalah
yang datang murka
ketika dirinya tidak bercinta.
