Pulau Bruit

Let say the intellectual in us will lend your destiny
but you are a difficult person lost on the wrong island
and your plight in your life
does not meant money is the answer
or the people who will lead you to the tomorrows
suddenly found an island in need.

And let say the intellectual in us cannot find an answer
for the children who should always be to the sea
or the poor old men who should always be waiting
but the sea has never been cruel
to stop you from making a living.

The people of Bruit
your island is not as beautiful as Langkawi
for me to knock on the door of Putra Jaya.

Pulau Bruit

Andainya kebijaksanaan kita menentukan hidupmu
engkau adalah orang payah terdampar di Pulau Salah
resah tidak semesti hidupmu harus bergantungan
pada wang yang harus dijanjikan
atau pada mereka yang menentukan arah tuju
sebuah pulau yang tiba-tiba kesusahan.

Dan andainya kebijaksanaan tidak dapat dibuktikan
pada anak-anak kecil yang harus ke laut
atau pada orang-orang tua yang harus menunggu
sebenarnya laut tidak pernah bergelora
untuk menutup rezekimu.

Pulau Bruit, namamu tidaklah seindah Langkawi
untuk aku pahatkan di Putra Jaya.
